Executive council will revisit an agreement with Western Potash Corporation at its Wednesday meeting.
The deal from Nov. 15, 2012, stated the city would sell recycled wastewater to Western for its proposed potash mine near Milestone, 55 kilometres south of Regina.
A pilot plant is supposed to be constructed sometime in 2018 or 2019, but the actual mine might never come to fruition.
As a result, city administration is seeking to renegotiate the agreement, so it could potentially supply another company with water from the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
