May 3-5, 2010 The Difference Between Trenchless Technology And No-Dig: Trenchless Technology is often confused with No-Dig Technology. Although they are similar they are not the same thing. Both are underground pipe rehabilitation systems but there are some important differences. TRENCHLESS: The term “trenchless” can be misleading so don’t be fooled: Although there is no trench that is dug, almost all the other systems out there involve digging holes – sometimes as long as six feet! NO DIG: The first major advantage of our system is that it’s truly a No Dig System. With FORMADRAIN there is no digging, ever. All repairs are done from existing access points, sewer cleanouts and manholes. There are other valuable differences as detailed in this website.
